CryptoBreakout rules, stage by stage
| Phase | Profit target | Daily drawdown | Max drawdown | Max DD type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation | 12% | 3% Fixed | 5% | Fixed |
What these limits mean
Daily drawdown
3%
Daily drawdown is the most you can lose in a single trading day before the account is breached; it usually resets at the broker's daily rollover.
Max drawdown
5% Fixed
Maximum drawdown is the total you can lose from the starting balance. A fixed limit never moves; a trailing limit rises with your highest balance, so it tightens as you profit.
Profit target
12%
The profit target is how much you must gain in a stage to pass. The funded stage usually has no target.
Rules are summarised for the standard account types and can change; always confirm the exact limits on the firm's own site before you trade. Percentages are of the starting balance. DD = drawdown.

What is a daily drawdown limit?
The daily drawdown (or daily loss limit) is the most you can lose in a single trading day before the account is breached. It usually resets at the broker's daily rollover. On most prop firms it is 4% to 5% of the starting balance for forex firms and a fixed amount for futures firms.
What is the difference between fixed and trailing drawdown?
A fixed (static) maximum drawdown is measured from your starting balance and never moves. A trailing drawdown follows your highest balance or equity up, so as you make profit the breach level rises with you. Trailing drawdown is stricter and is common on funded and futures accounts.
